  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Approximately 5 - 10 years' experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Typically requires travel; less than 30% of the time
  • Must understand, summarize, and interpret the flow of information to Retail Management as well as provides direction and oversight to the development of new reports and scorecards
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation, including those required for Sarbanes Oxley
  • CPA, CMA, and/or CFA designation strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and application of Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, TM1, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
  • SAGE Intacct experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, organization, accuracy, curiosity, and motivation to understand the business
  • Ability to develop strong relationships within the company to collaborate on tasks and company-wide initiatives
  • Ability to think strategically and to understand underlying business and organizational issues

  • Prepare financial data such as schedules and entries, monthly account reconciliations, identify/resolve discrepancies and report financial statements in accordance with our accounting policies (GAAP) and SOX controls
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of internal control framework. Develops and maintains support of audit documentation for internal and external auditors; identify risks, enforce cash management and inventory controls
  • Coordination, direction, and control of all financial reporting and analysis for Retail Operations, includes preparation of variance analysis
  • Build, maintain & improve financial models, research competitive trends, competitor pricing analysis, and provide analytics to support decision making process
  • Development, maintenance, and accurate execution of store, region, and department level forecasting models to support annual budget and iterative forecasting
  • Proficiency in using visualization to convey analytical results and showcasing to Executive Leadership
  • Improve, maintain documentation and training materials for assigned responsibilities
  • Collaborates and assist in process improvement initiatives to capture efficiencies in our processes, labor models, payment method reviews, cost benefit of transaction costs vs revenue, promotions, and discounts support. Interface as needed with shared service A/P and payroll functions
  • Analyze capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions
  • Understands corporate objectives at all levels of the organization. Escalates issues to management in a timely manner. Performs additional duties as assigned
