About the Role:
Lumafield is looking for a Video Intern to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing B2B marketing videos for multiple platforms. This isn’t like a trivial PA role – as a member of a small and agile marketing team, you’ll have the agency to use your creative smarts to come up with video ideas of your own, and your work will be hands-on in the production office, studio, or editing space every day.
At Lumafield there is little distinction between full-time team members and co-ops. You’ll be working on the same industry-defining problems our team of PhDs, industry experts, and startup all-stars are tackling daily. You’ll be a part of a co-op class with the opportunity to participate in professional development activities and social engagements alongside other interns interested in the startup space. What You’ll Do:
- Plan, film, and/or edit B2B marketing videos for multiple platforms, including blogs and social
- Produce videos by yourself, and as a member of a team
- Participate in our in-office community, capturing Lumafield’s culture of curiosity and proactively discovering great stories to tell with video
About You:
- Think of yourself as a production and post-production multitool – you can step into different on-set roles (from DIT to sound mixer to cinematographer), and you’re an editing whiz (Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects are a must).
- Enjoy working on a variety of projects – social videos, customer stories, how-to series, etc. – often at the same time!
- Are experienced at building narratives with B-roll, editing multicam footage, and creating efficient workflows and templates to yield multiple videos of the same type.
- Have a growth mindset and are eager to learn from each project you work on.
- Enjoy working independently, but know when to raise questions.
- Have an affinity for working in a technology-based business.
- Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and a high bar for excellence.
- Get excited about making the world a better place.
Bonus Points For:
- A portfolio of your video work.
- Experience creating still and moving GFX.
- Experience delivering great social media packages from concept through execution.
Lumafield’s San Francisco office is the location of this role. You may be required to travel occasionally to Lumafield’s Boston-area offices or to customer facilities in North America, depending on local, state and federal regulations and recommendations pertaining to COVID-19.
