As a workforce analyst, you help bridge that gap through the analysis of workforce data, identification of trends, and provision of actionable insights to enhance efficiency and productivity.

This is an opportunity to significantly impact the Department of Defense’s organizational success by ensuring optimal workforce deployment. As a workforce analyst, you’ll employ advanced analytical tools and methodologies to forecast workforce needs, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend process improvements. Your expertise will be vital in helping our clients achieve their goals of elevating employee engagement, reducing turnover, and maximizing resource allocation.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience with strategic human capital management, talent management, people analytics, or strategic workforce planning and analysis

• Experience with conducting strategic or operational workforce planning activities, including workforce demand analysis, workforce supply and labor market analysis, and gap analysis

• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting

• Knowledge of key human capital, workforce, and change management and enablement trends and principles

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of change activities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment

• Secret clearance 

• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience developing enterprise workforce plan focused on mission critical occupations and future capability requirements

• Knowledge of DoD workforce taxonomy and workforce data systems

• Knowledge of DoD or federal talent management, workforce planning, and manpower reviews or Military Resource Organizations

• Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

• Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists

• TS/SCI clearance 

• Master’s degree 

• Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), Strategic HR Leadership (SHRL), or Human Capital Management (HCM) certification, or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional (CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SCP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
