As Chapter Leader - Senior Manager, you will blend engineering knowledge and experience with a passion for coaching and mentoring to deliver scalable and high performing solutions with a cloud-first mindset. You will be responsible for the managing engineering associates and delivery and technical ownership of a portfolio of applications assigned to the Orchestration team.
The Role
Our goal at FDA’s Orchestration team is to design and build a suite of capabilities supporting Legal, regulatory and compliance needs. You will be responsible for the managing engineering associates and delivery and technical ownership of a portfolio of applications assigned to the Orchestration team. You will work very closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high quality, reliable, cloud-based technology solutions to meet our business needs.
The Skills You Bring
5+ years of professional, hands on Software Engineering experience in Java, Spring boot and API Full Stack Development.
Development experience in AWS is a plus.
2-3 year in people management with excellent people leadership skills with demonstrated ability of leading and developing software engineers.
Engineering background with a consistent record of delivering to cloud at scale
Experience with modern agile engineering approaches, CI/CD practices and focus on operational excellence.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business partners across Fidelity.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
