Li & Fung USA is seeking an experienced and dynamic executive for this exciting new role of Sales Director, Branded and Licensed Apparel. The ideal candidate will lead the sales strategy and execution for our branded and licensed apparel lines, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence with brands including LOFT and Pendleton. This role will be instrumental in strategically expanding our licensed portfolio.
Job Title: Sales Director - Branded and Licensed Apparel
Location: Hybrid/NYC Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share within the branded and licensed apparel segments.
- Leverage existing relationships to build and grow strong partnerships with key accounts and stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive sales growth.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their potential.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and trends, adapting strategies accordingly. Travel required.
- Collaborate with design, account management, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment in product offerings and promotional activities.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Represent licensed brands at industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the apparel industry, with a proven track record in branded and licensed products.
- Established strong relationships with department stores, off-price, and club channels.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Passion for product.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Expert in retail math and ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation/Benefits:
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $175,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience.
