- 1 year work experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
- The ability to perform phlebotomy
- Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests
- Assist patients with aftercare instructions
- Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff, and providers
- Clean and restock exam rooms
- Cleaning and Sterilize instruments
- Collecting lab samples (blood, urine, ect)
- Updating patient medical histories
- Dermatology experience is preferred
