Requirements
- A personal track record for exceeding sales goals with success selling in complex enterprise environments; requires edtech sales experience and established relationships with executives at edtech companies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with executive stakeholders and close in a collaborative manner
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive sales strategies and decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to present to diverse audiences and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
- A growth mindset, embracing challenges and learning from temporary setbacks
- Travel required for industry events and customer meetings, less than 20%

Responsibilities
- Be accountable for meeting revenue goals while providing an outstanding experience for customers
- Lead a team of sales professionals; provide coaching and training to help them realize their potential and meet revenue objectives
- Design our application partnership strategy including identifying market opportunities, setting operational priorities, guiding go-to-market approaches
- Bring the rigor of proven sales practices to continually improve pipeline quality, deal size, and closing ratios
- Analyze sales performance and forecast effectively; present findings, offer valuable business insights, and discover ways to optimize performance
- Foster strong collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Success, Product, and Finance teams
- Set a compelling example as a sales expert and leader, actively engaging in key sales activities as needed, participating in critical customer meetings, and working complex enterprise sales
- Become a trusted advisor to customers and company leadership. Act as an ambassador for Clever at industry events, building strategic relationships and goodwill
