- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in full truckload or less-than-truckload transportation dispatching or logistics operations is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, is required.
- The ability to manage multiple shipments accurately and remain organized under pressure is required.
- Analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, written communication, customer service, negotiation, phone, and email skills are required.
- Serve as the main contact for customer relations.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions and ensure operational best practices align with customer requirements.
- Manage daily operations, including booking, tracking, and tracing full truckload, less-than-truckload, and air cargo.
- Provide customer service from booking through on-time cargo delivery.
- Request quotations from carriers and negotiate spot rates.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement cost-effective operational solutions to improve efficiency and enhance service levels and quality.
- Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal staff.
- Maintain accurate account documentation and ensure it is completed, stored, and readily accessible to the team.
- Increase customer satisfaction and business share through regular customer contact.
- Follow up on account issues and liaise with management to implement and drive solutions.
- Analyze service and cost data and recommend actions for business improvement.
- Report service failures, claims, damage, and other irregularities.
- Ensure accurate data entry into systems.
- Monitor trends and report changes to management.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Korean bilingual ability is preferred.
- Warehouse and/or manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
