  • Subject matter expertise on US Federal acquisition processes and practices
  • Experience with managing various US Government contract types (e.g., FFP, IDIQ, MACs, GSA Schedules, BPAs, T&M, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and other agency FAR supplements
  • Experience with commercial services and commercial products contracting (i.e., FAR Part 12)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • 7+ yrs. experience (cohort & title aligned with experience and background)
Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts and provide pricing and transaction support for BCG’s US Federal government contracts
  • Provide first-line guidance on federal acquisition matters, working closely with BCG’s Legal Team and other departments and functions
  • Build excellent processes and infrastructure to support US Federal contracting, address compliance risks, and codify and share best practices across markets
  • Oversee BCG’s US Federal contracts and assisting with the team to construct, submit and negotiate proposals
  • Manage opportunities throughout the contract lifecycle, from early lead through RFP, proposal, negotiation, award, modification, and closeout
  • Build and strengthen BCG leadership’s knowledge of US Federal acquisition and procurement practices
  • Review RFP/RFQ/solicitation documents and amendments and communicate requirements to the appropriate parties
  • Review and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements with teaming partners
  • Serve as the primary advisor on Federal contract compliance and communicate requirements to the appropriate parties
  • Maintain contract document management system and help identify and develop process and system improvements
  • Work with Legal to review, draft, and negotiate contract terms & conditions, solicitation questions, and proposal assumptions
  • Prepare proposal business volumes (including pricing, reps & certs, subcontracting plans, OCI plans, etc.)
  • Interface with government contracting officials on all matters of the contract lifecycle
  • Attend client kick-off meetings, project-team handoffs, and other client-facing and BCG-internal meetings and events
  • Support subcontracts matters including flowdown of prime-contract clauses, in coordination with the Subcontracts team
  • Advise BCG Finance on various budget, reporting, and invoicing matters
  • Manage periodic reporting requirements (e.g., SAM.gov, service contractor reporting, etc.)
  • Flag and escalate risks and manage process to comply with BCG company policies
  • Provide pricing and transaction support and other public-sector business support duties as assigned
