Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • At least 3 years of customer service and/or hospitality experience and sales experience are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required, including the ability to create and manipulate Excel documents.
  • Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Promote Broadview FCU products and services in accordance with Performance Excellence Sales and Service Standards.
  • Provide quality investment and insurance referrals.
  • Work to achieve personal and department sales goals.
  • Act as a liaison between members and all departments of the credit union, focusing on existing members who have a deposit or loan product relationship.
  • Inform targeted members about their product’s status, including deposit products maturing, maturing share deposits, maturing market index certificates, home equity lines of credit coming to an end, and real estate and consumer loans that will be paid off.
  • Conduct pre-call planning for each outbound call by analyzing the Broadview account and product/service mix to appropriately meet members’ financial needs.
  • Initiate opportunities to cross-sell products and services.
  • Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services and explain their features, terms, conditions, and benefits.
  • Respond to problems, requests, and inquiries that arise.
  • Participate in all applicable product, sales, and operational training sessions offered by the credit union.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Broadview-approved retail consumer lender status is preferred.
  • Home equity, mortgage, and commercial lending experience is preferred.
