Security Technician, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a special Security Technician on our team, you’ll help your client manage, process, and monitor personnel security tasks and actions to enable readiness and security of a trusted workforce. Using your understanding of the DoD, IC, security, and operational support activities, you’ll coordinate, staff, and complete assigned taskings, prepare reports and briefings, and identify opportunities to enhance operational management. As a journeyman intelligence professional, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and network, develop new skills in operational management, and share your techniques and methodologies with fellow analysts and mission managers. You Have: 

• 8+ years of experience working in the DoD or IC 

• Experience providing security services support, including tracking and processing requests for SCI access, badging, indoctrination briefings, managing security profiles of workforce, and coordinating visitor access 

• Experience coordinating with internal and external security managers to verify information pertinent to security clearance determination 

• Experience using clearance and security systems, including DISS, TITAN, and Scattered Castles 

• Knowledge of CCMD and subordinate organization’s structure, role, and command relationship

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph 

• Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have: 

• 12+ years of experience working in the DoD or IC 

• Experience as a special security technician supporting CCMD or component organizations 

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with leadership 

• Master’s degree 

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
