Requirements
  • Zero to two years of experience, with recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated ownership of something from start to finish, whether that was an internship, a job, a student organization, or a project of your own.
  • An instinct for organization, meaning you keep a list, work the list, and do not need reminding.
  • Precision that holds up under volume, since access and compliance work punishes sloppiness in ways most work does not.
  • Comfort learning unfamiliar software quickly, since you will administer tools you have never seen before.
  • Willingness to move between an auditor request and a broken conference room in the same hour, and to treat both as the job.
  • Clear written communication, particularly when chasing people who owe you something.
  • Discretion with employee, candidate, and client information.
Responsibilities
  • Intake, triage, and fulfillment of all IT access requests through the Notion-based IT Service Center.
  • Provision new-hire access across Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and role-specific tooling before day one.
  • Deprovision access on the same day as departure, triggered by the departure notice, and capture completion evidence for audit.
  • Procure, image, ship, and track laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Review and approve requests to use AI tools, models, and agents against the internal AI usage policy.
  • Maintain the approved-tools list and the enterprise account and single sign-on posture behind it.
  • Escalate high-risk AI use cases.
  • Collect and evaluate security documentation, SOC 2 reports, subprocessor lists, and data-handling terms from external vendors.
  • Route contracts, data processing agreements, and business associate agreements to the appropriate approver.
  • Maintain the vendor inventory, including periodic scheduled re-reviews.
  • Own the governance, risk, and compliance relationship end to end.
  • Manage the ISO 42001, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type II workstreams, including evidence collection, control monitoring, remediation tracking, and auditor requests.
  • Maintain Vanta and ensure necessary actions are reviewed and acknowledged.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the external compliance partner and auditors.
  • Manage the office request queue covering badges and building access, maintenance issues, desk and equipment setup, furniture and space needs, and audiovisual problems.
  • Stock snacks, beverages, water service, coffee, and general supplies, and reorder them on a set cadence.
  • Serve as the point of contact for building management and facilities vendors, and work maintenance tickets through resolution.
  • Issue, track, and deactivate building badges, keeping badge access aligned with joiner, mover, and leaver events.
  • Maintain conference rooms and shared spaces, including audiovisual setup and the room booking platform.
  • Build a vendor review and approval process covering intake, security review, approval routing, and periodic re-review.
  • Build an asset inventory tracking every laptop, monitor, and badge from issue through return.
  • Build an onboarding and offboarding system that works consistently as the company grows.
  • Establish an evidence-collection cadence that makes audits routine.
  • Own the onboarding and offboarding checklist and ensure new joiners receive proper system access.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and their logistics for new hires.
  • Collect I-9 documentation, adhere to compliance deadlines, and accurately enter new hires into the HRIS.
  • Liaise internally with outside immigration counsel, gather documentation, track filing deadlines, and keep candidates and employees informed.
  • Initiate, monitor, and close out background checks, escalating adverse findings rather than adjudicating them.
  • Confirm that departure notices arrive and that the deprovisioning workflow starts the same day.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to a formal compliance program such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, or a similar program, whether as an owner or contributor.
  • Familiarity with identity and access concepts such as single sign-on, multifactor authentication, role-based access, and least privilege.
  • Hands-on experience with Vanta, ADP, Notion, Google Workspace administration, Slack administration, or an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience managing an office through a move, expansion, or build-out.
  • Experience coordinating with outside immigration counsel.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI tooling and the governance questions it raises.
