- 2+ years' experience supporting audio-visual platforms such as - Q-Sys, Dante, Shure Wireless, Absen, Novastar, Extron, and Analog Way
- 2+ years’ experience running live multimedia events and/or system installation
- Experience filling technical roles such as Audio Operator, Video Operator, Show Support
- Highly confident in AV system troubleshooting and performance
- Excellent communication and soft skills with a willingness to work in a faced paced environment
- Perform upgrades and maintenance of network and AV infrastructure; anticipate and address potential system issues.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between internal teams, external clients, and vendors to coordinate support and repairs.
- Work a primarily second-shift schedule with flexibility for weekends and event demands; participate in on-call support rotations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and clear communication with technical and non-technical users.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless, end-to-end technical support; document all support activities in the help desk system.
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems and software (Q-Sys, Dante, Wireless Workbench, TriplePlay, Mood Media, Presenter); perform cable terminations (XLR, Cat5e/Cat6, BNC).
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of TCP/IP networking and basic system communication protocols.
- Support live events through technical roles such as show support, audio console operation, and video system operation; attend rehearsals and oversee technical run-throughs.
- Train and assist internal technical staff on AV systems and best practices for event operation.
- Maintain up-to-date inventories of hardware, software, and parts; provide detailed post-event reports with documented issues and recommendations.
