Requirements
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to identify products by size, type, style, or code.
  • Ability to read and interpret product manuals, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills and ability to learn metric measurements and equivalents.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and execute written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills and data-entry experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 150 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including 8 or more hours.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and climb regularly.
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
  • Ability to work in a shop or warehouse environment with occasional outdoor exposure.
Responsibilities
  • Pull orders from the printer or document bin, determine the items required, and accurately retrieve products from storage.
  • Identify hose products, measure them, and safely cut them to designated lengths.
  • Follow quality-control procedures to verify picked orders against customer invoices before shipping.
  • Assemble and pack products, affix shipping labels, and prepare shipping documents.
  • Stage finished products for shipping, delivery, or customer pickup.
  • Process customer payments for orders as needed.
  • Assist with receiving products, unloading trucks, and stocking products appropriately.
  • Reconcile and record incoming products and provide the Accounting Department with appropriate documents.
  • Count physical inventory as needed or directed.
  • Verify that inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Provide customer service and assist in all areas of the store as needed.
  • Respond to customer needs and resolve them efficiently.
  • Produce fitting and hose assemblies.
  • Organize and clean the warehouse, hub, and work areas.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, accessible, and organized.
  • Assist with van routes by packing products and delivering them to and from store locations.
  • Back up the night-driver position as needed.
  • Drive safely to store locations and customer sites while following traffic laws.
  • Ensure daily and regular van maintenance is completed.
  • Immediately report vehicle safety concerns or issues to a supervisor.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with other departments to better serve customers.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

  • Prior experience in the relevant warehouse or delivery work is preferred but not required.
