Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in Supply Management, Supply Planning, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Operations within hardware, manufacturing, or server/data center environments.
  • Hands-on experience with demand-supply balancing, shortage management, and inventory optimization, including ensuring material availability and protecting build plans in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems such as SAP and Oracle, and with Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Analytical ability to interpret supply signals, build dashboards, and translate data into actionable supply decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate stakeholders across Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commodity Management teams in a global matrixed organization.
  • Communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive escalation resolution, and present supply health updates and recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Own demand-supply balancing for L11 Mechanical components by analyzing forecasts, purchase orders, inventory positions, lead times, and supplier capacity to align material availability with global build plans and recommend expedites, reschedules, pull-ins, and buffer strategies.
  • Drive shortage resolution and supply risk mitigation as the primary point of contact for L11 Mechanical supply escalations, collaborating with suppliers, logistics, manufacturing, and planning teams to resolve constraints, manage allocation scenarios, and execute contingency plans across global factory sites.
  • Manage inventory health and optimization by monitoring excess and obsolete exposure, safety stock levels, and pipeline inventory, while supporting product transitions and end-of-life management.
  • Coordinate supplier operational execution, including purchase order flow, delivery schedules, logistics coordination, and capacity commitments, and flag risks through regular supply reviews and demand signaling.
  • Prepare dashboards and executive reporting on supply health, material availability, shortage status, and inventory metrics, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, or Six Sigma.
  • Direct experience managing supply operations for mechanical components such as sheet metal, die casting, stamping, chassis, or brackets in server, rack, or data center infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with product transitions, new product introduction ramp management, and excess and obsolete mitigation.
