- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to three years of experience in a housekeeping role is required.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products is required.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance are required.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed is required.
- Clean the resort office, clubhouse, public access areas, and models, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash.
- Clean cabins and rentals to prepare them for new guests.
- Keep rentals and common areas clean and maintain them to resort standards.
- Track cleaning-supply inventory and request refills as needed.
- Report maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas and vacant or rental homes to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
- Assist with cleaning resort-sponsored guest activities and functions.
- Assist the Resort Manager in responding to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Solve guest-related problems and address conflicts positively.
- Drive a motorized vehicle to run errands or pick up supplies as needed.
- Work closely with management and management staff to maintain open communication and an integrated, coordinated resort team.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
