Requirements
- Minimum Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or Business Administration
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Business Analyst role
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A willingness to help and share knowledge with other team members
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate the logic, reason, and priority of each project/ product development
- Familiarity with AI Analytics, real time streaming data and trading analytics, capital markets applications
- Naturally curious with a strong determination to work around obstacles and attention to detail
- Strategic thinking and an ability to effectively identify opportunities for growth in new businesses and markets
- Familiarity with Overbond product suite: Bond Trading Automation, Liquidity Scoring, Bond real-time pricing, Fixed Income ETF basket pricing, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), Margin Optimization
- Familiarity with fixed income corporate bond trading industry
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, use cases, process flows, & test cases
- Create product roadmap, create JIRA Epics, assign team resources, develop storyboards and user-stories, develop product requirements, assess project dependencies, and overall delivery timelines in weekly sprints
- Create and maintain project schedules and project objectives
- Identify and resolve issues and risks
- Report on project progress & offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise
- Implement change practices
- Manage resources to make sure schedule is on track
- Act as project portfolio management
- Lead meetings and set expectations for the project team
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas of improvement in existing processes and systems
- Manage the Agile process using Jira, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and release planning
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that requirements are properly implemented and delivered on time
- Track and report project progress, including issues and risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Intake requirements from clients in pre and post sale phases of client relationships
- Conduct and be responsible for client back-tests and live tests where best product functionality is being showcased
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fixed income and Agile development methodologies
