Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • Three years of relevant experience with Epic functionality, design, configuration, and technical environment concepts and functions.
  • Experience in Epic builds is required.
  • Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules is required.
  • Frequent keyboard use and data entry.
  • Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements.
  • Ability to use vision and depth perception for near and far distances and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to use hearing and speech to share information orally and hear alarms or malfunctioning machinery.
Responsibilities
  • Research business needs for the service line and translate them into technical enhancements for configuration and business process changes.
  • Develop proposals outlining feasibility and costs.
  • Code complex functions, including building application tables and reports for multiple Epic applications.
  • Test application builds to ensure quality delivery to business partners.
  • Implement and stabilize core business applications by researching application infrastructure needs, associated hardware, endpoints, and databases.
  • Identify and solve complex problems using innovative methods that influence business direction and performance.
  • Research and recommend best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and organize technical requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision making.
  • Lead functional teams or projects in a project-management role with moderate resource requirements, risk, or complexity.
  • Plan and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integrated issues crossing applications and work with vendors to solve issues.
