Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Analyzing, designing, and building a highly scalable, performance optimized, data-centric, distributed computing platform using Design thinking, R, Python, ETL, Hadoop, Impala, and Spark;
  • Engineering and developing frameworks to automate complex mathematical and statistical projection models utilizing agile methodologies, version control and test-driven development approach;
  • Designing and implementing data management framework inclusive of data lineage, data quality control and data dictionary using REST APIs, Hadoop, Impala, and Spark;
  • Building Proof of Concepts and mockups utilizing wireframe tools like Microsoft Visio, Balsamiq and iRise;
  • Leveraging Alteryx and Tableau for data wrangling and analytics; and,
  • Developing complex SQL scripts to support data modeling and data analysis.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the software development lifecycle of products and services from inception stage through to the final implementation.
  • Support our Corporate Treasury business in internal and regulatory liquidity and sensitivity reporting for the bank as part of an enterprise level program.
  • Work closely with the developers to define, build and test the solution often working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time.
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
