Under direct supervision, responsible for organizing and conducting basic training and educational programs for information systems personnel and/or non-technical end-users.
Ability to consistently and professionally interact with operational leadership, management, faculty, and staff. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Classroom training experience; workflow assessment and analysis; creation and maintenance of training materials preferred. Preferred knowledge and skills in the following technologies: common business and healthcare applications, standard business processes, learning management systems, and technical writing.
- Maintains records of training activities, trainee progress, and program effectiveness. Reinforces and educates end users regarding existing workflows and best practices.
- Assists application team in defining enhancement requests, new screen designs, etc., based on feedback from training sessions or interactions with end users and management.
- Develops training materials addressing specific educational goals and objectives for each training module to include quick guides, computer-based training (CBT), newsletters, testing material and other training material as needed.
- Provides troubleshooting and end-user support.
- Performs classroom training activities including in-services and other adult learning methodologies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
