Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA, MS or MA in business administration, economics, finance, or CFA preferred

  • Conversant in major fixed income and equity valuation methodologies
  • Proficient in Excel; prior Bloomberg experience is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Independently completes research and analysis of the most complex issuers and is a leader in the development the team's overall investment strategy
  • Contributes to enhancement of the team's investment processes and standards with a focus on optimizing performance relative to clients' investment objectives; this may include mentoring and development of less experienced associates
  • Identifies innovative solutions and makes decisions that directly impacts investment performance and the decision-making process
  • Identifies risk and return drivers, develops and models forward-looking scenarios, analyzes relative value, and provides investment recommendations for positioning within assigned sectors
  • Communicates analysis and investment theses through use of written reports, presentations, conversations, and market meetings
  • Evaluates changes in the economic, regulatory, legislative, and competitive business environments that impact investment fundamentals, valuations, and positioning within client portfolios
  • Builds relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate the analysis of investment opportunities
  • Collaborates successfully with other Nationwide Investment groups to advance our clients’ best interests
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned
