Requirements
  • Experience in a labor-intensive, warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing job.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly.
  • Proven reliability and tenure with previous employers.
  • Comfort working around medical and universal waste while using personal protective equipment.
  • Willingness to take a five-panel urine drug screening.
  • Willingness to undergo a seven-year background check.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read and record weights accurately.
  • Familiarity with weighbridge or scale systems.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a non-office industrial setting, including standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow written processes and safety procedures consistently.
Responsibilities
  • Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers using the weighbridge.
  • Load and operate the autoclave machine used for waste treatment.
  • Recertify 55-gallon drums for safe reuse.
  • Count universal waste, including lightbulbs and batteries, and add it to manifests.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds and handle 55-gallon drums throughout the shift.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and double-check counts and labels.
  • Spot and promptly report issues with containers, paperwork, or equipment.
  • Work with teammates and supervisors to keep the plant running smoothly.
  • Help train others after becoming competent in specific tasks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hi-Lo or forklift experience is preferred.
