Requirements
  • The candidate must have 10+ years in marketing with deep experience in demand generation or growth marketing, and have run a fast-paced, high-performing Growth or Demand Gen team.
  • They must have experience at a growth-stage startup with 50M+ revenue and 150-500 employees, and have seen what good looks like at scale but aren't too far removed from doing the work themselves.
  • They must have rigorous analytical thinking, able to build models that drive resource allocation, interrogate assumptions, stress-test forecasts, and identify where the data is lying.
  • They must have a founder mentality, thinking like an owner and reasoning from first principles about the business, not just the marketing function.
  • They must have broad business acumen to reason about business strategy regardless of prior industry.
  • They must have excellent written communication, in an async, documentation-first culture.
Responsibilities
  • Help Tremendous become the default way companies pay people for everything but payroll by building awareness and discoverability.
  • Lead the full marketing function, overseeing demand generation, product marketing, corporate marketing, and brand design, owning pipeline and positioning and market presence.
  • Join the leadership team, collaborating with the CEO, COO, and VPs to steer the company and contribute to business direction.
  • Own pipeline generation across both sales-led and self-serve motions, focusing on proven segments while testing new channels and audiences.
  • Build the team by inheriting a high-performing team and continuing to develop it.
  • Bring analytical rigor by setting the standard for data-driven decision-making in Marketing.
  • Champion a test-driven approach, continually experimenting to find new growth opportunities.
  • Integrate AI into how we work by fostering a culture of AI experimentation.
