Branch has a preference for candidates in Ohio, but is open to candidates located in AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, and WI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Branch is remote first, with most Branchers choosing to work from home. Our headquarters are located in Columbus, Ohio, where we come together from time to time to build relationships and connect with each other in real life. We also have office space in Columbia and Concordia, Missouri as well as Forreston, Illinois. Once a year, the entire company gathers for “BranchFest”, a highlight of the year for many Branchers.

About the role

We are building our company - the Branch Community. In order to keep growing, we need dedicated leaders like you to bring high energy and help clients find the best solutions for their families.

Our Sales team works to grow the Branch by helping people easily obtain the right coverage for their individual situations. Our energetic team directly assists our prospective members through a variety of channels, such as Inbound and Outbound calls, Chat, Email, and Text, and cares for prospective members affiliated with the Branch's partnerships.

The Sales Leader role is focused on leading a team of Sales Agents who interact with potential clients to ensure they get the right coverage level at a great price. Sales Team Leaders are enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life and recover from the unexpected. Sales Team Leaders coach and support their teams to contribute to overall growth and profitability targets.

• Inspire and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team - Empower and guide a team of sales agents, helping them achieve and exceed their targets while fostering a culture of collaboration and success.

• Coach, Develop, and Support Growth - Act as a mentor and partner for each team member, providing individualized coaching that enhances their skills, confidence, and ability to drive results.

• Champion the Sales Experience - Reinforce best practices through hands-on development, real-time feedback, and continuous learning opportunities to ensure a consistent, effective sales experience.

• Build a Team That Embodies the Branch Brand - Cultivate a team that reflects Branch’s values, commitment to excellence, and a people-first approach to sales and service.

• Drive Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Collaborate in shaping best practices, refining sales strategies, and implementing techniques that enhance both team performance and the member experience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Proven Leadership - 3–5+ years leading teams in agency and/or contact center environments, driving performance and engagement.

• Insurance Sales & Carrier Expertise - Strong background in personal lines insurance with deep knowledge of multiple carriers, products, processes and state guidelines.

• Coaching & Development - Skilled in guiding teams through sales flows, creating growth plans, and empowering success.

• Problem-Solving & Adaptability - Thrives in fast-paced environments, solving challenges with agility and strategic thinking.

• Top-Tier Sales Performance - Consistently delivers sales results, exceeding targets while maximizing success and member impact.
