Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication and IT skills.
  • The ability to work independently, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a mixed caseload of service users, including prescribed, alcohol, and criminal justice cases.
  • Support service users from initial contact through their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral.
  • Reduce drug- and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services.
  • Support social reintegration, recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination among service users.
