Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology, with an interest in process and control systems, network infrastructure and data management.
  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.
  • Proficient with programming.
  • Experience with SCADA systems.
  • Proficient with database creation and management in SQL.
  • Understanding of power plant systems and ability to troubleshoot and understand data from those systems.
  • Familiarity with virtual machines and server management.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, network protocols, and network management.
  • Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
Responsibilities
  • Assist our renewable energy plant automation and operations teams with automated reporting, data collection, dashboards and plant troubleshooting for our fleet of renewable energy facilities throughout the United States.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot issues with reports. Coordinate with Plant Operators and Compliance Specialists on any issues or requests.
  • Respond to inquiries to retrieve and analyze plant operational data.
  • Update plant information in SQL to be used throughout the reporting system.
  • Assist operations team by traveling to one of our plants and executing a project to improve the process, network, or automation systems at the plant.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
