  • You have completed training as a bank clerk.

Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for results-oriented advising of customers assigned to the team and independently handle appointments arranged by yourself, the advisory center, and the call center.
  • You advise customers according to their needs and sell banking products such as accounts, cards, building savings, and deposits, as well as consumer finance, retirement-planning, and building-savings products; you may voluntarily advise on simple investment needs.
  • You are responsible for successfully implementing new service processes in branches, particularly certification according to Service DIN.
  • You identify customer needs using standardized advisory processes, close sales successfully, or routinely refer customers to specialists, particularly for construction financing.
  • You proactively address digital services such as online and mobile banking and explain the bank's digital features to customers.
  • You continuously develop your professional, sales, process, and digitalization knowledge.
  • You support customers with transactions, service, and administrative activities, including directing them to self-service terminals.
  • You process all appointments arranged by the advisory center and use branch interactions and advisory conversations to arrange follow-up appointments.

Deutsche Bank announces $565M share buyback from 2026 earnings after posting record $4.6B profit

Deutsche Bank reported a record half-year post-tax profit of €4.1 billion for the first half of 2026, with revenues reaching €17.2 billion. The CET1 capital ratio stood at 13.9%, within the bank's operating range. The bank announced a €500 million share buyback from 2026 net income, marking the first time it has executed a buyback from current-year earnings. Chief Executive Christian Sewing described this as demonstrating the bank's earnings momentum and confidence. Deutsche Bank also announced the sale of its Private Bank's India franchise, which is expected to be positive for shareholder value when completed next year. The bank maintained its 60% payout ratio and confirmed confidence in achieving its 2028 targets.

Deutsche Bank reported record first-half results for 2026, generating €17.2 billion in revenue and €4.1 billion in post-tax profit — its highest-ever half-year profit. Return on tangible equity reached 11.9%, and the bank reaffirmed its approximately €33 billion full-year revenue target. Loans rose 1% to €491 billion, whilst deposits increased 2% to €698 billion. Asset management added €97 billion in assets under management. The bank expects full-year net interest income from core banking segments to slightly exceed its prior €14 billion guidance.
