Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

Collectsamples,analyzes,andadjustscoatinglineprocessparametersusinglabequipment.
Collectsamples, analyzes,andadjusts wastewater system parameters to ensure wastewater iswithin permit limits.
Monitorse-coatprocesspressuresandflowsandchangesfiltersasnecessary.
Chartsprocessanalysisresultsandentersintorequiredspreadsheets.
Participatesinrequiredtank maintenance.
Maintains, calibrates, standardizes, and cleans lab equipment to maintain an operational neat and clean lab environment.
Cleansandmaintainse-coatandwastewaterequipmentarea.
CommunicatesprocessandequipmentissuestoPaintSupervisorandorPaintManager
Support and implement Continuous Improvement by suggesting longer term processing solutions that will reduce costs by way of improved scrap rates and optimized efficiency.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

70% standing/walking, 30% sitting at a desk
Able to lift 50 pounds

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma required, Technical / Mechanical Diploma / Degree or Certificate strongly preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:

3-5 years Manufacturing Experience Required
3-5 years in a technical role involving hard coating, painting, and/or vacuum metalizing or vacuum plasma processing.
Robotics and controls experience would be an asset.
Thorough understanding of coating processes and defect analysis.
Technical knowledge of HVAC systems, clean room environments and fluid handling equipment.
Strong knowledge of industrial processes and machinery.
