Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years old.

  • The candidate must work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain reliable and prompt attendance.
  • The candidate must be able to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • The candidate must be capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements while performing duties including Drive-Ups and carryout.
  • The candidate must remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • The candidate must complete Food Safety Manager Certification and applicable Starbucks or Pizza Hut training requirements or certifications.
Responsibilities
  • The Food & Beverage team leader must consistently deliver guest experience commitments and create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
  • The team leader must ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers Target guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  • The team leader must observe performance, provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize strong guest experience moments.
  • The team leader must review guest, financial and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take corrective action, align the team on behaviors and execution, celebrate wins, drive results and elevate the guest experience.
  • The team leader must understand sales goals and plan and execute daily and weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, salesfloor display changes, sampling and promotions.
  • The team leader must lead an efficient, guest-focused Food & Beverage team in completing the Food & Beverage Daily Standards walk.
  • The team leader must assess backroom and sales floor Food & Beverage and Food Service areas daily, prioritize business needs, identify team workload tasks, and review reporting for business-trend follow-up.
  • The team leader must establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable.
  • The team leader must partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables, using check-ins and check-outs as daily connection points.
  • The team leader must maintain a fresh, full and food-safe area during operating hours through inventory management, area routines and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • The team leader must assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, aligned with business priorities.
  • The team leader must validate and follow up on team members' progress against assigned workload tasks, production-area routines and best practices.
  • The team leader must close skill gaps through development, coaching, training and team interactions.
  • The team leader must lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends using store reporting and headquarters communications.
  • The team leader must develop and maintain vendor partnerships, ensure delivery and merchandising brand standards are met, and place store-initiated orders where applicable.
  • The team leader must remain current on relevant trends and products to educate team members.
  • The team leader must support hiring and onboarding of new team members and participate in team hiring and onboarding processes.
  • The team leader must support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws.
  • The team leader must become a subject matter expert in applicable federal, state and local adult beverage laws and protect the store's liquor license where applicable.
  • The team leader must lead the team in upholding Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and maintain a productive partnership with the Starbucks district manager where applicable.
  • The team leader must foster a productive relationship with the Starbucks district manager, attend required planning and business meetings, and follow up on key takeaways where applicable.
  • The team leader must demonstrate and enforce ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
  • The team leader must model safe behaviors, identify and correct hazards, hold the team accountable to safety expectations, assist with incident response, and report and investigate injuries accurately and promptly.
  • The team leader must execute physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies, including ordering, storage and application.
  • The team leader must demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches and creating equitable experiences.
  • The team leader must follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • The team leader must occasionally assume store-level leadership-on-duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • The team leader must address store emergency and compliance requirements.
  • The team leader must perform other duties based on business needs.

  • Previous retail and/or food experience is preferred but not required.
