Responsibilities
  • Learn about PLS Logistics Services and the logistics industry.
  • Hear from company leaders about how to be successful.
  • Participate in fully paid training and orientation.
  • Become familiar with the business model and transportation management system.
  • Make phone calls and grow a professional network.
  • Develop a portfolio of clients by cold calling using provided industry leads.
  • Negotiate pricing to close deals.
  • Take ownership of client service issues through resolution.
  • Update the tracking system accurately throughout the day.
  • Advise customers and help manage their logistics challenges.
  • Liaise with Logistics Coordinators to support workload and generate additional business.
  • Seek promotional opportunities to advance within the organization.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the logistics industry, including rates, capacities, and carriers.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Logistics brokerage experience is preferred.
