The Meta Vision Lab (MVL) of Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. R&D Lab is seeking a Data Collection and Management Engineer (Contractor) and motivated professionally qualified individual to join their team located in Pasadena, CA.

**2-months contract position**

What You’ll Do

Automate data collection and processing for digital healthcare sensing.
Perform data collections, and run simulations to create, curate, and label machine learning datasets.
Analyze large datasets used for AI/ML model development.
Integrate solutions into the ML/AI algorithm pipeline with a small multidisciplinary engineering team.

Location:Hybrid, working onsite at our Pasadena, CA officer 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics. Other degrees may be considered if the candidate has a strong data collection background.
Practical knowledge of building and adapting ML/AI algorithms for digital healthcare, sensing, robotics, automation, IoT, or related areas.
Familiarity with model training process and testing for data collected under diverse testing conditions.
Technical proficiency in Python and common deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience in deploying ML code on devices such as Arduino, MCUs, and other development environments is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
