Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Establish project scope and detailed requirements by facilitating requirements-gathering sessions, documenting requirements, and managing them throughout the project.
  • Identify and manage project issues, risks, and changes.
  • Communicate and follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to plan.
  • Develop project plans covering schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Collaborate with resource managers, lead team members, Finance, and executives.
  • Monitor and track progress against project plans.
  • Report project status to stakeholders through formal reports, snapshots, plan updates, and informal communications.
  • Communicate project status, issues, risks, goals, and objectives to project team members, management, and stakeholders.
  • Create regular status reports.
  • Continuously improve the organization's project management processes and standards.
  • Monitor actual project hours and costs against project or program estimates and budget.
  • Monitor and report on the project budget.
  • Establish and structure project files within the job order file according to the Control Document Procedure.
  • Use Project Management tools provided by the Sales Project Engineer, enter required data, and follow the Document Control Procedure when issuing or changing documents.
  • Attend kickoff meetings for project-specific jobs.
  • Research nonstandard components or items needed for projects and provide information to the Engineering Manager for use determination.
  • Conduct review meetings with management, purchasing, and production departments to discuss project status and requirements.
  • Provide engineering assistance to departments regarding interpretation of drawings and operation of systems.
  • Implement customer documents, review and comment on them, and draw redlines.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
