Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree and / or product certificate required
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • 5-7 years Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that a development team (pod) or multiple development teams (pods) are creating value for the organization through the delivery of stakeholder-focused product increments
  • Align with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a product vision
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog
  • Manage delivery blockers
  • Continuously assess customer feedback
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure that work embodies the Agile principles of transparency, collaboration and engagement
  • Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
  • Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements
  • Advise on execution strategy and lead the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives within their own field or across multiple specialties
  • Solve unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact
  • Engage stakeholders to take action; serve as a source of expert advice, influence change; frame information in a broader organizational context
  • Provide leadership guidance, make recommendations and collaborate with business to ensure solutions meets the business needs on a complex project or program
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in eGRC / Non-Financial Risk Product Management at a large FI or G-SIB
  • Extensive experience producing reporting for one or more of the following Non-Financial Risk programs at a large FI or G-SIB: Issue Management, Incident/Event Management, RCSA, Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Compliance Risk Assessment, Laws, Rules, Regulations Management / Regulatory Change Management, Policy Management, Monitoring and Testing, Product / Service Risk Management, AML Risk Assessment, Exam Management
