Requirements
  • 7+ years experience in the digital marketing Business Development / Sales roles (agency experience preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once with strong leadership and presentation skills
  • Direct client-facing experience
  • Proven track record of managing a deal cycle from opportunity identification to close
  • Have a bias towards action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Proficient with Google Drive software (Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Responsibilities
  • Open and scale net new revenue growth across key account ownership (Vertical growth expectations include; CPG and Non-CPG, Brand Direct and/or client direct, along with National Agency growth and Client Direct partnerships)
  • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges/objectives, and present innovative solutions to client leadership and stakeholders
  • Define strategic business plans for accounts to meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting/lead management, qualifying, presentations, proposals and contract negotiations, managing and closing sales opportunities
  • Manage and track client and transactional information, leads, pipeline, reporting, and forecasting through our CRM system
  • Leverage existing network and business contacts to discover and drive opportunities through our sales pipeline
  • Ensure collaboration between Business Development, Strategy and Client Services to scale and grow your book of business with existing clients
  • Be a trusted advisor to new clients, team members and peers through the demonstration and thorough understanding of influencer and social media marketing
  • Guide decision-making and provide credible counsel to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to match client needs with new and upcoming products and services from the Viral Nation Ecosystem (Tech and Marketing)
  • Ability to forge and nurture healthy relationships with customers/clients to earn trust and be a source of expertise
  • Continuously keep learning and adapting to industry trends, news, innovations and regulations related to social media and influencer marketing, while sharing the knowledge with your team
