Manufacturing Production Manager - Fremont, Indiana
DISHER is currently partnering with a full-service recycling company handling paper, plastic, metals and electronic recycling. They tailor recycling programs for consumer and industrial clients throughout the United States. In this position you will be responsible for the management and profitability of their location as well as the professional development of the potential leaders within the team. This role works through team members to increase revenue from both residential and industrial customers and on building relationships with local business. This position will plan, direct and coordinate plastics operations, as well as ensure output and quality goals are met while remaining within budget.

What you’ll get to do:
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the Plastics locations managing both capital resources and labor.
- Report on production, safety, goals and efficiencies to management. Initiate necessary action to meet department goals and personnel needs.
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
- Work closely with sales department to coordinate shipping and receiving of materials.
- Interpret and administer company policy.
- Manage department and individual performance through direct and indirect supervision of employees.
- Ability to meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related studies required
- 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment
- 5+ years supervisory experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Working knowledge of machine operation
- Knowledge in metallurgy and/or paper grades in the grading of materials
- Knowledge of OSHA and Safety compliance requirements
- Professional assertive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
