Requirements
  • Active Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation clearance.
  • Minimum of eight years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience leading complex projects and programs, specifically focused on technical solutions development and Salesforce programs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management.
  • Experience communicating with senior levels of a customer organization.
  • Experience delivering solutions to production or migrating legacy applications to new modern platforms.
  • Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
  • Willingness to undergo a government-issued background investigation process.
  • Ability to perform occasional on-site work in Ashburn, Virginia as required by Customs and Border Protection.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Customs and Border Protection Salesforce Center of Innovation technical support program across governance, development, release management, and operations.
  • Provide overall program management, coordination, and delivery oversight for all Salesforce activities supporting Customs and Border Protection mission systems.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including Salesforce developers, architects, release managers, and application teams working across multiple Salesforce organizations.
  • Drive Agile program execution including sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery tracking.
  • Lead stakeholder communication with Customs and Border Protection technical leadership, program offices, and integrator teams.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions are planned, built, reviewed, and deployed in accordance with Customs and Border Protection governance, change control, and security requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee release management activities including change requests, Technical Design Document reviews, and deployment schedules.
  • Ensure the team remains fully functional and productive by removing blockers and resolving delivery risks.
  • Facilitate daily scrums, project meetings, and coordination sessions across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Provide status reporting, risk tracking, and delivery transparency to Customs and Border Protection leadership.
  • Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions while shielding the team from external interferences to maintain focus on tasks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute or a recognized credentialing agency.
