Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED and one year of receptionist or administrative experience are required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are preferred.
  • The ability to perform desk-based computer tasks and the listed physical activities, including occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 15 pounds, is required.
  • The ability to work flexible hours is required.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and screen all visitors and guests as they enter and leave the building.
  • Update the visitor log, daily log, and other front-desk forms.
  • Answer telephones, take messages, and direct people appropriately.
  • File documents, prepare correspondence, and sort and distribute notices.
  • Complete property logs, incident reports, and other office responsibilities.
  • Enforce community policies and house rules.
  • Maintain the orderly appearance of the front entrance, lobby area, and adjoining rooms.
  • Post and distribute tenant notices.
  • Monitor the video camera system.
  • Monitor traffic in and out of the building and help ensure that the building is secure.
  • Communicate with residents, visitors, and staff and assist residents, visitors, guests, and applicants as needed.
  • Complete work orders and assist with administrative needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
