Requirements
  • Graduation from or current enrollment in an allied health program is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or a Registered Vascular Specialist from Cardiovascular Credentialing International is required, or eligibility to sit for the Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Specialist examination with registry obtained within six months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic, medical, and vascular imaging using a variety of imaging equipment and systems.
  • Work independently with patients across all age groups.
  • Work 20 hours weekly in eight-hour shifts with varied start times between 6:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
  • Participate in on-call coverage every fourth weekend and in holiday rotation.
  • Provide coverage at St. Clare Hospital and, when needed, at St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in ultrasound/sonography is preferred.
  • Experience or interest in breast imaging is preferred.
  • An associate degree in allied health or applied science, or completion of a certificate/training program, is preferred.
