Requirements
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED with military electronics training totaling at least 720 classroom hours, graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, or graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program is required.
  • An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities is required for the education alternatives.
  • At least six years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple client programs is required.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills are required.
  • A demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams is required.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills are required to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication with clients and team members are required.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for potential ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
  • Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation, and provide technical support to the client.
  • Utilize and comprehend the project Safety plan, including JHA, AHA, and PFW, and enforce the client's handbook and policies.
  • Participate in quality reviews of client design documentation and analyze and interpret drawing packages to evaluate constructability.
  • Track project metrics and participate in weekly resource allocation meetings.
  • Execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations and complete detailed documentation.
  • Track and inventory tools, conduct tool inspections, and organize material ordering and receiving.
  • Conduct daily ORM meetings, ensure team compliance with safety requirements, and complete accident and incident reporting.
  • Participate in PITCO plan creation and build-out, and execute the PITCO plan to ensure high-quality testing and installation.
  • Install system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels in accordance with industry standards.
  • Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network equipment, and information technology equipment.
  • Manage base switch configurations, participate in configuring servers and workstations, and troubleshoot programmable components.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality control plans and checklists, conduct quality control inspections, and document findings.
  • Install and maintain field devices, terminate and test system components, and troubleshoot copper and fiber optic issues.
  • Lead commissioning efforts, track commissioning activities, and assist in representing the client in meetings with owners and design teams.
  • Communicate with the client's project teams, other trades, and customers.
  • Provide constructive feedback, mentor crew members, and encourage strategic thinking and innovation.
  • Provide a look ahead for manpower assignment, material procurement and staging, and resource planning.
  • Travel approximately 50%.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, including CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, FFT, DIVAR, and Windows operating systems and certifications, along with experience installing those systems.
  • Three years of experience focused on electronic security systems.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
