Revvity has launched the SuperFlex prenatal screening system, a compact, CE-IVDR certified immunoassay instrument designed for laboratories and clinics with lower-volume workflows. The system tests for preeclampsia, which affects 2% to 8% of pregnancies globally. The platform features affordable instrument costs with annual maintenance, no reagent wastage at low volumes, and delivers results in as little as 14 minutes per test. It includes a test menu for first- and second-trimester biochemical prenatal screening. The system will initially be available in markets accepting CE-marked instruments, with Asia-Pacific expansion planned for late 2026. Revvity reported 2025 revenue of $2.9 billion and employs approximately 11,000 people.

Meanwhile, StockStory advises caution on Revvity and Northern Trust. Revvity's sales declined 10.6% annually over five years, whilst Northern Trust's 6.9% annual revenue growth lagged behind financial peers. Both companies face headwinds despite maintaining profitability, with earnings pressures and market share concerns affecting their outlooks.
Revvity reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $730 million, with pro forma revenue of $711 million representing 4% growth and 3% organic growth. The company posted GAAP earnings per share from continuing operations of $0.48, while adjusted EPS reached $1.41. The company announced a definitive agreement to divest its China Immunodiagnostics business, which accounted for approximately 6% of total revenue in fiscal year 2025. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. Adjusted operating profit margin improved to 28.9%, up from 26.6% in the prior year period. GAAP operating income included $16 million in tariff-related refunds. Revvity raised its full-year guidance following the results.
A meaningful gift marks a milestone moment at Rompa CZ. The story behind the artwork. The art was created using Revvity's own instruments and depicts HeLa cells, which hold a unique place in biomedical research. They were the first human cells successfully grown continuously in a laboratory and remain one of the most widely used cell lines in science today. Originally taken from Henrietta Lacks in 1951, HeLa cells have contributed to thousands of scientific breakthroughs over more than 75 years of research. They have played an important role in areas including vaccine development, cancer research, virology, drug screening, gene mapping and many other fields of biomedical science. The story of HeLa cells is also an important reminder of the ethical responsibilities that come with scientific progress. Henrietta Lacks' cells were used without her knowledge or consent, raising questions about patient rights, informed consent and the use of biological materials in research. Those discussions continue to influence how biomedical research is conducted today. Celebrating a long-standing partnership with Revvity. Revvity developing large scale latent tuberculosis test. * July 24, 2026 Revvity has announced the development of the T-SPOT A201, a next-generation high-throughput automated platform designed to support the performance advantages of T-SPOT.TB testing for large-volume clinical laboratories, enabling a reliable, accurate solution for latent tuberculosis (TB) detection. Tuberculosis remains a critical global health challenge, with testing demand driven by immigration screening, pre-treatment evaluation for immunosuppressive therapies, and broader public health programs. It is crucial for laboratories to deliver accurate results upon initial testing, while managing a high volume of samples to support timely treatment and improved patient outcomes. Building on the success of the Auto-Pure 2400 liquid handler, (pictured) the T-SPOT A201 platform is engineered to meet the throughput requirements of large-scale testing environments, strengthening the Revvity's automation portfolio and its ability to support laboratories across a range of throughput needs. It can process up to 384 samples per instrument in an 8-hour shift, with 45 seconds per sample of hands-on time - the lowest of any T-SPOT automation solution. The platform aims to ensure that these laboratories benefit from the scalability and workflow advantages associated with automated T-SPOT.TB testing. "The T-SPOT A201 automation platform represents a significant step forward in making the benefits of T-SPOT.TB testing accessible at scale," said Steven Hart, Vice President and General Manager of Infectious Disease Diagnostics at Revvity. "Our development program is focused on delivering a solution that gives high-volume clinical laboratories the performance, workflow efficiency, and competitive economics they need."
