Requirements
  • 5+ years in a Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering role, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms
  • Proven experience with implementing software products or solutions in large and dynamic enterprise companies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Experience working well in a highly dynamic team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service
  • Ability to travel as needed, with domestic and occasional international travel required
  • Proficiency and/or knowledge of Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure) focused on DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Migration, Platform Engineering, and others
  • Experience in developing and/or delivering services for cloud-based ISV companies or developing service practices with digital native or service-focused organizations for large and dynamic enterprise companies
  • Ability to provide expert guidance in DevOps with a focus on cloud infrastructure architecture, IT operations, security, and development technologies
  • Comfortable developing services and solutions with third-party partners
  • Ability to work well in a highly dynamic/team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service
Responsibilities
  • Act as a domain expert in hybrid/multi-cloud solutions for the partner sales team and serve as the technical lead on strategic client relationships in the partner space
  • Lead technical enablement and co-selling services strategies with Focused and Aligned Partners to create a force multiplying effect for the HashiCorp Sales and Services teams
  • Own the technical relationship with assigned Focused and Aligned Partners, providing expert guidance on operations excellence with strong skill sets in CSP infrastructure architecture, IT operations, security, and development technologies and processes
  • Work closely with assigned Focused and Aligned Partners to integrate the HashiCorp Cloud Stack into their solutions, both products and services
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the overall HashiCorp technology portfolio and the competitive landscape
  • Help foster an environment for ongoing strategic partner success with active participation in HashiCorp Sales teams’ meetings and cadences
  • Actively assist assigned Aligned Partners with services practice building, including designing HashiCorp products and solutions into the Partner’s GTM strategy
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, any of the tools in the HashiCorp portfolio
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps) are a plus
  • Military Veteran/Experience or B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent experience
