Responsibilities
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Turn interested callers into FreedomCare Patients and Caregivers
  • Engage potential patients and caregivers who are looking for more information regarding IHSS program and FreedomCare in general
  • Explain the enrollment process in detail to all potential members in a way that is hopeful and exciting
  • Explaining the benefits of enrolling in FreedomCare and why we are a unique team
  • Stay updated on Medicaid and health plan policies to ensure ease of enrollment
  • Nurture interested individuals into signing up with FreedomCare
  • Collect and validate current information needed to sign up
  • Follow up with our patients/caregivers and health plans via follow-up calls, emails, and texts
  • Ensure a seamless, complete, and effective enrollment process for all prospective patients and caregivers into the IHSS program
  • Be the initial point-of-contact for calls from prospective clients, caregivers, or pending enrollees
  • Manage a high open caseload until the enrollment process is complete
  • Consistently meet monthly completed start of care
  • Provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for potential patients/caregivers
  • Navigate multiple systems and portals to determine eligibility and obtain authorization
  • Regularly achieve monthly new enrollee goals
