Requirements
  • Engineering education from ENAC or an equivalent program.
  • More than 10 years of experience in airport planning.
  • Knowledge of the institutional, regulatory, and technical airport environment, including civil aviation, Airports Council International, International Civil Aviation Organization, International Air Transport Association, and French and European regulations.
  • Knowledge of air transport stakeholders, particularly airport operators, manufacturers, engineering consultancies, and consultants.
  • Proficiency with airport planning software and computer-aided design software, including AutoCAD and AviPlan.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, organize work, synthesize information, and communicate effectively internally and externally.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct analyses of airport master plans and development schemes.
  • Analyze regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze and forecast air traffic.
  • Analyze and forecast airport capacity.
  • Perform ratio-based, static, and dynamic sizing.
  • Conduct analyses, modeling, and simulations for airport planning projects, including sizing with CAST software.
  • Develop dimensional and functional programs.
  • Lead development plans.
  • Conduct multicriteria analysis.
  • Estimate costs and prepare works programs and capital expenditure plans.
  • Participate in client meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Contribute to preparing proposals.
  • Contribute to airport concession proposals for the Egis Group as a technical adviser.
  • Define investment programs in relation to established airport master plans.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated planning solutions.
  • Work on airport development projects for clients in France and internationally, covering landside and airside structures and installations, buildings, and equipment.

  • Knowledge of EISA studies.
  • Knowledge of urban planning rules and good practices.
  • Knowledge of dynamic simulation tools such as AirTop, Pedestrian, and CAST.

Wiemelt brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the nuclear and energy sectors, with expertise in programme management, environmental remediation and strategic planning. Wiemelt previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Jacobs, where she led the company's global Energy, Security and Technology business unit. In that role, she managed a portfolio exceeding $1.5 billion in annual revenue and over 8,000 employees worldwide. She has also served on numerous industry and corporate boards.
