About This Role:
This position ensures outgoing quality of product through the execution of inspections of welds and mechanical components used in the construction of enclosures ranging from standalone cabinets to industrialized modular buildings. This role is responsible for the inspection of all structural steel weld inspections as well as ensuring welds meet the applicable AWS standards. Additionally, this role conducts Inspection of structural steel members received from suppliers and sheet metal parts as part of the in-house fabrication process.
A Day In The Life:
Perform inspections of welds and welding processes to ensure compliance with
applicable codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME).
Remain current with industry developments, codes, and standards related to welding.
Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings, including non-conformance issues.
Plan and execute weld processes audits.
Ensure all work is carried out as per the approved methods and drawings.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address welding quality
concerns and collaborate in corrective action and preventative action
implementations.
Conduct inspections of mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished goods
as needed to support the primary mechanical quality inspectors
Ensure product designs comply with regulatory, commercial code, customer
specifications, engineering standards, company practices & procedures.
Assistance in execution of tool calibration program with primary focus on mechanical
inspection equipment and ensure all items are within current calibration period and
are functioning correctly before use.

Requires AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certification
Requires 8+ years of experience in welding inspection or a related field, with hands-on
experience in various welding processes and techniques.
Minimum High School graduate or GED.
Strong understanding of welding standards and codes (e.g., ASME, AWS) and non-
destructive testing methods.
Knowledge of materials used in metal components and structure fabrication.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team
members.
This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
Basic computer skills with Word/Excel experience.

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $48/hr - $50/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
