Requirements
  • Actively pursuing a degree or concentration in Cyber Security, Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Be at least in your junior year of school.
  • Completed a networking class or have a basic understanding of networking and the most commonly used protocols.
  • Have a basic understanding of any scripting language (able to read & understand a scripting language).
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Be comfortable with solving problems on your own (GoogleFu).
  • Ready to develop your technical skill set.
  • A willingness to be challenged and a strong desire for continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities
  • work side by side with SOC analysts, incidence responders and threat hunters on the front lines of defending Motorola Solutions’ customers from malware, ransomware, and threat actors.
  • learn the fundamentals of investigating threats, analyzing network traffic, and understanding security risks associated with threats.
  • learn about attack techniques and how to identify signs of compromise.
