Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with network and system administration for Linux/Unix and Windows servers.
  • 3-5 years of experience designing & developing scalable and high-performance archival solutions
  • 3+ Experience with integrating archival products with databases, file systems and cloud storage.
  • Experience with Archival product vendors (OpenText Info Archival, SOLIX, Informatica, etc)
  • Building data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and retrieval from source systems to archive.
  • Experience on databases like Oracle, SQL, CITUS, Hive, etc & Querying Knowledge
  • At least 1-2 year of experience with AWS/Azure Cloud as well as the infrastructure automation & management tools (ex: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, etc).
  • Proficiency in virtualization (Vmware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and familiarity with cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) platforms.
  • Understanding of virtual networks, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Experience working on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Skills in scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with Git, infrastructure as code (IaC), observability, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Product and customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of specific technology services.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop Data Archival solutions for Application retirement, Decommissioning and Live Data Archival.
  • Carry out and also improve system software development and maintenance tasks by updating the product design to automate routine system administration tasks using standard tools and software development practices.
  • Provide help with strategic direction and oversight for the design, development and support of Data Archival infrastructure that includes the full life cycle of technical.
  • Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the Product manager.
  • Participate in Product planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with Product goals.
