Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in IT audit, IT controls testing, or information security compliance
  • 2+ years of hands-on SOX compliance experience, including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 ITGC testing
  • Demonstrated experience with frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, COSO, or ITIL
  • Proven ability to conduct control walkthroughs, design test procedures, and document testing evidence
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Information Security, or a related field
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
  • Strong reporting capabilities, including preparation of audit findings, risk insights, and executive-ready documentation
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • CISA, CIA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications
Responsibilities
  • Support the IT Risk & Controls Manager in monitoring compliance with internal IT policies and external regulatory requirements, including SOX and ISO 27001
  • Assist in the execution and documentation of IT control testing procedures to evaluate control design and effectiveness, identifying potential gaps
  • Perform control testing in line with established methodologies and frameworks such as SOX ITGC and ISO 27001
  • Maintain accurate, well-organised documentation of testing activities, results, and supporting evidence to ensure audit readiness
  • Assist in preparing audit observations, control deficiencies, and risk findings for internal review prior to stakeholder communication
  • Support the development of corrective and preventive action plans aligned with business objectives
  • Track remediation actions from internal and external audits, following up with control owners to ensure timely closure and evidence collection
  • Support audit engagements by collating and providing audit evidence to internal and external auditors in a timely manner
  • Provide guidance to control owners on execution requirements, documentation standards, and testing expectations
  • Identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency and control testing processes
  • Contribute to IT risk register maintenance and compliance reporting metrics
  • Stay informed on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and audit practices
