JOB SUMMARY:
The EU Carbon Compliance Project Manager and SME for EU CBAM and EUDR Implementation will lead the integration of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) into Jabil’s supply chain. This role has a broader approach, starting by designing the end-to-end compliance solution and project management, ensuring proper implementation and compliance at same time helping to increase efficiency within our global supply chain processes. The Project Manager will lead the design of the blueprint for the compliance solution, manage resources, coordinate with internal teams, and work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory compliance and strategic sustainability goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regulatory Compliance and Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of EU CBAM and EUDR regulations within Jabil’s supply chain.
- Design, develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful integration of regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to regulatory deadlines and internal milestones.
- Stakeholder Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with purchasing, supply chain, and sustainability teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of CBAM and EUDR requirements.
- Forge successful relationships with suppliers and external partners to facilitate compliance and enhance supply chain sustainability.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate internal and external stakeholders on regulatory requirements and implementation processes.
- Process Improvement and Efficiency:
- Support designing the end-to-end compliance tool to address regulatory requirements.
- Strategize and utilize defined tools to monitor project costs and trends, continuously striving to improve value and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance Jabil’s global supply chain operations and compliance with CBAM and EUDR.
- Track, drive, and communicate changes and enhancements to supply chain key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with regulatory changes and supply chain processes.
- Address supply chain issues promptly, coordinating actions within the supply chain and purchasing teams to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with commodity management to establish procurement strategies that support compliance and sustainability goals.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain documentation and reporting systems for regulatory compliance and project management.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of CBAM and EUDR implementation, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, supply chain management, sustainability, or regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of EU CBAM and EUDR regulations and their impact on global supply chains.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to define software requirements and create procedural manuals.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, negotiation, and people skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from large groups.
- Ability to work under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP).
- Experience working in a multinational organization.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP).
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Knowledge of Jabil’s SCM software.
· Ability to define software requirements and create procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information or training material and respond to questions from relatively large groups of people.
· Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills are a must.
· Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
