- Provide data network design, implementation, support and site assessment for the client
- Contribute to information security consulting to improve security and supportability around Intelligent Transportation Systems systems
- Support network design, implementation and site assessment for ITS technologies including highway message boards, traffic counters, reversible lane systems, remote weather information systems, traffic cameras and highway lighting
- Be a critical component of successful information security and systems support for information technology services delivered to the North Carolina Department of Transportation Intelligent Transportation Systems, Statewide Traffic Operations Center and Traffic Systems Operations Unit business customers
- Be part of a team of data network, information security and systems specialists responsible for security assessment and remediation, standardization of network architecture, implementing change and configuration management, vendor management and compliance focused on these business functions and their related IT services and technologies
- Implement change and configuration management processes
- Collaborate effectively with all IT and business teams and staff at all levels, translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating those solutions clearly to the business
