  • 2+ years leading and managing teams focused on integrating real-world computer vision and perception algorithms using a mix of deep learning and traditional algorithms on edge devices.
  • Proven ability to deploy these systems with: Deep Learning Frameworks: Expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow (one mandatory, familiarity with both a plus). Computer Vision Libraries: OpenCV. Deployment Optimization Tools: TensorRT.
  • Strong C++ programming and real-time software design on a linux based system.
  • Experience deploying DL models to run on real-world, resource-constrained, systems with a pragmatic approach towards problem-solving.
  • Proven industry track record with experience in: Deploying real-time automated systems to solve real-world problems. Integrating deep learning models with more traditional techniques to solve problems pragmatically.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the device perception application development life cycle, from problem definition to deployment and ongoing improvement.
  • Lead a team of experienced software engineers to develop and refine the system in a hands-on manner.
  • Spearhead the integration of robust computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, semantic segmentation, and classification to run on an edge device.
  • Champion the development of algorithms on the edge for complex urban scene understanding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud/system) for seamless integration and monitoring of perception models.
  • Analyze data to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for enhancing the perception system.
  • Foster automation for continuous testing and release of our device application software.
  • Communicate technical findings and insights effectively to stakeholders across the company to drive performance improvements.

Hayden AI has developed an autonomous traffic management platform that enhances urban mobility by using artificial intelligence to turn vehicles into mobile street sensors. These sensors gather real-time data to create a digital twin of the city, which helps monitor and manage traffic flow and road safety. The platform primarily serves transit agencies in major cities, enabling them to enforce dedicated bus lanes, which improves safety, on-time performance, and reduces costs. Unlike competitors, Hayden AI combines mobile sensors with citizen-driven data for a comprehensive view of traffic conditions. The goal is to make public transportation more efficient and reliable while ensuring safer urban environments.
